Rob Wagenborg joins Fizzy Transition Ventures

Fizzy Transition Ventures is happy to announce that Rob Wagenborg has joined the company as Senior Advisor. Rob brings a wealth of experience in transportation, logistics, international business development and M&A and has boundless energy and enthusiasm for Fizzy’s ambitions. Rob graduated in Business Administration and Social Economics in 1979. He spent his early career as a Management Consultant with Boer & Croon in Amsterdam and with the Ministry of Transport & Public Works in the Hague where he was involved in various privatisations and reorganisations. He became Managing Director of Kramer Transport in 1985 and three years later moved to Royal Wagenborg as Managing Director. Rob privatised and modernised the company’s passenger services, set up a crane- and industrial project division, a passenger services division, a shipping division with several ferry services and an offshore division with activities in the area of ice-breaking supply vessels, tugs and living quarters. He was also responsible for setting up a new Heavy Lifting and oilfield services JV in Oman and different logistic services in Europe, North America and Asia. He was advisor to the Dutch Government in the field of logistic services and set up international agencies for customs regulations. Since 2017 Rob is a member of the Board of Directors of Royal Wagenborg and in 2018 he became a Consultant at Hemingway BV. Rob will advise Fizzy Management on strategic issues and will be actively involved in business development.
